Admission Requirements International candidates must satisfy academic and English proficiency criteria:

  • Undergraduate Entry: Completion of recognized international high school qualifications (GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate) or an approved foundation pathway. Bangladeshi HSC graduates generally require an approved foundation program or 1 year of completed tertiary study for direct entry consideration.

  • Postgraduate Entry: A recognized 4-year Bachelor’s degree with faculty-specific minimum academic average thresholds (typically 65%–75%+ WAM depending on the course).

  • English Proficiency (Standard Minimums):

    • IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 (7.0+ required for Law, Nursing, MBA, and select medicine tracks).

    • PTE Academic: Minimum 58 overall with no communicative skill below 50.

    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum 79 overall (Reading/Listening 13, Speaking 18, Writing 21).

Intake Information

  • Semester 1 (February Intake): Main intake for all faculties. Recommended application deadline for international students is October 31 (earlier for quota courses such as Nursing, Medicine, and Law).

  • Semester 2 (July Intake): Secondary intake for select undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Application cutoff is generally April 30 to ensure sufficient time for Australian Subclass 500 visa processing.

  • Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship: Provides merit-based awards up to AUD $60,000 applied directly toward tuition fees for outstanding coursework students.
