The passage
Australia has been the single most popular destination for Bangladeshi students for more than a decade, and roughly forty of its universities appear in the global top thousand. Teaching is entirely in English, the academic year is built around two large intakes in February and July, and the Education Services for Overseas Students framework gives international students statutory protection over their fees and their enrolment. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth all carry established Bangladeshi communities, and regional campuses in cities such as Geelong, Wollongong and Toowoomba offer the same degrees at lower cost with extra migration points attached.
Degrees are recognised worldwide, the Temporary Graduate visa lets most graduates stay and work for two to four years, and regional study adds an additional year on top. Course fees sit below the United States for comparable rankings, and part-time work at the national minimum wage covers a meaningful share of living costs.
Undergraduate degrees run three years, or four with honours. Coursework master's degrees run one to two years depending on how much credit is granted for prior study, and research degrees run three to four. Everything is registered on the Australian Qualifications Framework, so a diploma articulates cleanly into a bachelor programme.
Budget AUD 20,000 to 35,000 a year for an undergraduate degree and AUD 25,000 to 45,000 for a master's. Medicine, dentistry and veterinary science sit far above that band. Fees are quoted per year but charged per semester.

The Department of Home Affairs currently expects a single student to show around AUD 29,710 a year for living costs. Shared accommodation in an outer suburb runs AUD 900 to 1,400 a month; a room in inner Sydney or Melbourne runs considerably higher.
Australia Awards cover a full master's or doctorate including airfare and a living stipend. Destination Australia pays AUD 15,000 a year for study at a regional campus, and most universities run their own international merit awards of twenty to fifty per cent of tuition.
The Subclass 500 student visa requires a Confirmation of Enrolment, evidence of English, Overseas Student Health Cover for the full stay and proof of funds. Applications from Bangladesh are assessed under the Genuine Student requirement, which replaced the old Genuine Temporary Entrant test, and a clear study-to-career narrative matters as much as the bank statement.
Student visa holders may work up to 48 hours a fortnight while classes are in session and unrestricted hours during scheduled breaks. The national minimum wage means part-time work realistically covers rent and groceries, but never tuition.
The Temporary Graduate visa (Subclass 485) leads into skilled migration through the points-tested Subclass 189 and 190 streams. Regional study, an occupation on the skilled list and a strong English score all add points; nomination by a state government is the most common route for Bangladeshi graduates.

Tuition runs roughly AUD 20,000 to 45,000 a year depending on the institution and the subject, and living costs add another AUD 21,000 to 29,000. Treat those as the planning figures for your first year — the visa authority will expect evidence covering both, not tuition alone.
